About Echo360 at CSU

Echo360 is an accessible multimedia learning management platform used by CSU Fort Collins that includes video lecture capture, live streaming, uploaded videos and documents, and more.

Recording and Streaming Options

Echo360 Lecture Capture Technology

Echo360 lecture capture technology provides the ability to record audio, computer screen content and (optional) video of the instructor and make it available to students online.

Echo360 recording equipment, cameras and microphones are available in over 200 classrooms in over 40 buildings at CSU Fort Collins and CSU Spur.

Echo360 Personal Computer Capture Options

Universal Capture: Personal software and Browser Capture can create video recordings from your personal computer or a browser.

Zoom recordings and other videos and media can be uploaded to Echo360.

Live Stream

Live Stream allows students to watch remotely. It is enabled for all scheduled classroom recordings and supported by Universal Capture.

Accessing Online Content

Canvas.colostate.edu

CSU Students access Echo360 content through CSU Canvas:

Log in to CSU Canvas.
Click a course.
Click the Echo360 link in the course navigation.

Echo360.org

The EchoVideo website allows authorized users to access and manage online content.

CSU instructors and staff use the Echo360 website to add and manage videos and other media within their library and course sections.
CSU Echo360 admins use the Echo360 website to manage the creation of users, departments, courses, sections, recording schedules, rooms, and recording devices.

The Echo360 Support corporate website has articles and video tutorials about Echo360 for instructors, students and administrators.

The EchoVideo Support and Resources section focuses on the main product (video management and lecture capture platform).

CSU Echo360 Help Website

The CSU Echo360 Help website has CSU-specific articles, tutorials, information, and links to Freshservice articles and request forms.
