Instructors: How to upload videos and other media to the Echo360 library
Any videos, including Microsoft Teams recordings downloaded from Streams, or other personal videos, can be uploaded and stored in Echo360. Other media such as images and PDF files can also be uploaded.
Advantages include:
- Having videos readily available in your Canvas course via the Echo360 link
- Being able to store videos for future use
- Collecting viewing analytics in Echo360
- Utilizing other Echo360 features such as
- Student bookmarks
- Student notes
- Confusion flags
- Questions and answers
- Polls and other activities
Applicable to

- faculty/instructors, staff
Instructions
Upload one or more media items

Log in to your Echo360 account.

Select Upload Media from the pink Create menu button in the top menu.

Select files, or drag your video or media item to the + Select Files to Upload in the center.

Click the blue Upload button in the bottom right corner.

Click the Close button in the Success dialog box.

Select the Library tab in the top left corner.

Select Sort by Date Created, and down arrow for descending order for newer items to appear at the top.

Wait for the media item to finish processing.

Check that your media item appears in the top left of the Media section.
