This article covers installing the GlobalProtect client on Linux devices. The GlobalProtect client for Linux is not publicly available; please submit a help request specifying your Linux distribution and release version to be sent the appropriate installer. The GlobalProtect client only supports CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu and Fedora distributions. Other Linux distributions may be able to install and use the GlobalProtect client or a third-party VPN tool, but the DoIT Help Desk cannot provide support for these solutions. Please see the GlobalProtect Compatibility Matrix to ensure your Linux distribution is officially supported by the GlobalProtect app. Once you have used your distribution's package manager to install the GlobalProtect client package, follow these steps to connect: Enter gateway.colostate.edu or pueblogateway.colostate.edu as the Gateway Address and click the Connect button. Before the GlobalProtect client can finish connecting, you will need to authenticate with Duo. When GlobalProtect says "Connected", you may now use the VPN.
