Instructors: How to add Echo360 library videos to a course section

Instructors can add videos and other media in their EchoVideo library to their Echo360 course sections for access by students.

Add Video/Presentation as a Class

When using Echo360 Universal Capture, if you forget to designate a course section, or you upload a video, they go directly into your Main Content Media Library.

You can add your video to a specific Echo course section as a Class in your Echo360/Canvas course.

To add a video as a Class, when processing completes,

Locate the video in your Echo360 library.
Hover over three dots in the bottom right corner pink box and select Share.
Click the Classes tab (Class = one video) and click Add To Class.
Select Course, Term, and Section.
Click the New Class tab since this is a new video not a replacement video.
Enter the Class Name, Start Date, Start Time, and Duration.
Type a Class Description.
Select Available/Unavailable settings. (Default is Available: Now, Unavailable: Never.)
Click the Share button to save.
Check that the video appears in your selected course.
