Request a Fort Collins IT Project
Submitting a project request is the first step toward evaluating the needs and resources for completing an IT initiative.
Applicable to:
CSU Fort Collins and Spur faculty and staff
Prerequisites
- Know your project's size and scope before submission. For small initiatives, use the Project Sizing Matrix (attachment: "CSU PMO Project Sizing and Artefacts Matrix") to determine if the appropriate DoIT team can handle your project. Larger projects require Senior Leadership review.
- Access to the Campus Project Request Form (for campus partners) or the Internal Project Request Form (for Division of IT staff only). If you need access, contact DoIT_PMO@mail.colostate.edu.
Instructions
-
Use the Campus Project Request Form if you are a campus partner, or the Internal Project Request Form if you are a DoIT staff member.
-
Complete all required fields in the form, ensuring you provide accurate details about your project scope and impact.
-
Submit the form to initiate the request process.
- After submission, your project request will be evaluated to determine the appropriate team or approval path:
- Small initiatives are reviewed and assigned to a DoIT team.
- Larger projects are reviewed by DoIT Senior Leadership for approval and prioritization.
Outcome
After following these steps, your project request will either be assigned to a DoIT team for smaller initiatives or escalated for Senior Leadership review for larger projects.
