Shutting Down Classroom AV Equipment After Use
How to properly shut down classroom AV equipment to ensure the system is ready for the next user.

Prerequisites
Save and close all files, slides, or applications before shutting down.
Be sure you have removed all personal devices and media.
Instructions
Close all open files, slides, and applications.

If using the professor workstation PC:
Unplug any laptops, tablets, or USB drives you used.

If you used HDMI or USB-C cables:
Hold the cable securely with one hand.
Press the button next to the cable with your other hand.
Feed the cable back in slowly as it retracts into the cubby to avoid damage.

Turn off the projector or display screen:
Locate the touch panel on the professor workstation desk.
Press the Power Down button.
When the pop-up window appears, select Power Down to shut down the system.
⚠️ Important: Always use the touch panel to power down the system.
