Logging into a Professor Workstation in CSU-Pueblo Classrooms
This article explains how to log in and use a professor workstation located in CSU-Pueblo classrooms or academic spaces. These workstations require your CSU NetID (C Number) and password to access the system.

Login Instructions
Wake the Workstation
Press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse to wake the computer.
Power On (if needed)
If the screen remains off, locate the computer on the first shelf of the desk and press the power button.
Wait for the Login Screen
Allow time for the Windows login screen to appear.

Enter Your Credentials

Username: Your CSU NetID (C Number), e.g.,
C12345678

Password: Your CSU password
Sign In
Press Enter or click Sign in.
Wait for Desktop to Load
Ensure the desktop environment is fully loaded before beginning instructional activities.
Using Microsoft 365 Applications
When launching Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, Outlook, or Teams, you must sign in using your CSU credentials:
Username: Your CSU email address
(e.g., C12345678@colostate.edu or firstname.lastname@colostate.edu)
Password: Your CSU password
You will also be prompted to complete DUO multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.
Logging Out
Before leaving the classroom or academic space, make sure to log out of the workstation to protect your account and data:
- Click the Start Menu
- Select your profile icon
- Choose Sign out
Troubleshooting Tip
If login fails:
- Make sure you're using your C Number (e.g.,
C12345678) to log into the workstation.
- For Microsoft 365 apps, ensure you're using your CSU email address (e.g.,
C12345678@colostate.edu or firstname.lastname@colostate.edu).
- Double-check that your password is correct.
- Restart the workstation and try again.
- If issues persist, contact the CSU-Pueblo IT Help Desk for assistance.
