GCB 312: Operating AV equipment on the north side of the room
Learn how to operate the audiovisual (AV) equipment located on the north side of GCB 312, including turning on the east wall TV, using the built-in computer, controlling volume, using the camera for video conferencing, and properly shutting down the system when finished.

Prerequisites
Ensure the room is powered and lights are on. Have your CSU login credentials available to access the computer.
Instructions
Locate the touch panel on the counter on the south side of the room.

Tap the Power button on the touch panel that says "Press here to begin."
Tap the A/V Control button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Under the A/V Control menu, the left column labeled "East (left)" controls the TV on the east wall near the windows (north side of the room).
Find the wireless keyboard and mouse placed on the table near the windows.
Turn on the keyboard and mouse using the power switches on each device.

If the TV does not display the computer screen:
Sign in using your CSU login credentials at the computer.
Adjust the volume using the computer's volume control in the system tray (bottom-right corner of the screen).

To use the Logitech MeetUp camera for video conferencing:
Open your preferred video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Select the Logitech MeetUp camera and microphone as your input devices.
Start or join your meeting. The system will route video and audio through the room’s installed equipment.
When finished using the system
Restart the computer from the Start menu.
Power off the keyboard and mouse by sliding the power switches to the off position on each device.

Return to the touch panel and:
Tap the A/V Control button.
Select OFF under the East (left) column to turn off the TV.
Tap the red Close button in the top-right corner of the A/V Control window.
Tap the red System Off button in the bottom-right corner to shut down the AV system.
Outcome
Users will be able to operate and properly shut down the AV equipment located on the north side of GCB 312, including powering the east wall TV on/off, using the wall-mounted computer, adjusting volume through the computer, and accessing the video conferencing camera.
