Some Blackboard training courses require users to self-enroll to gain access to the course and its contents. This article is specific for users enrolling as students into Blackboard Original courses for the CSU Pueblo campus.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you can log in to Blackboard with your credentials.
Instructions
1. For training courses designed for self-enrollment, a direct link to the course is usually provided. To begin, click the provided link for the course you are enrolling in.
a. If you are not signed in to Blackboard, you will be directed to the Blackboard login page. Sign in with your NetID and NetID password to be taken to the enroll page.
b. If you are taken to the Blackboard login page, but you do not enter your login credentials correctly, you will need to re-click the link to reopen the course page.
2. Once the course page opens, you will see only some of the course information until you complete the enrollment in the course. From the course page, click the Enroll button with a green plus sign next to it. This is located at the bottom of the left sidebar.
3. In the screen that appears, click the Submit button to complete your self-enrollment into the course.
4. If successful, you will be receive a Success message. From this screen, click the OK link in the bottom right of the screen to return to the course.
5. Once enrolled, you will then be able to access the full course menu and materials.
Outcome
After following these steps, you will be enrolled in the Blackboard course and can view the full course menu and content.
