- Use your web browser to connect to the GlobalProtect web Portal. Doing so requires Duo authentication.
- Click the "Download the GlobalProtect Agent" button in the upper right corner.
- Under "CSU - GlobalProtect Client Software Downloads" in the new tab, click "Download Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent".
- Only install this version of GlobalProtect. Do not install GlobalProtect from the Apple App Store.
- Open the installer once it has finished downloading, and proceed through the installation.
- On the Installation Type step, be sure to check the box next to "GlobalProtect System extensions". The GlobalProtect client will not work if you do not install this system extension.
- Once GlobalProtect has finished installing, you can open it from Spotlight.
- When you open the GlobalProtect client for the first time, you may be prompted to modify your Mac's security settings. The GlobalProtect client will not work if you do not follow these prompts.
- Enter gateway.colostate.edu or pueblogateway.colostate.edu as the Gateway Address and click the Connect button.
- Before the GlobalProtect client can finish connecting, you will need to authenticate with Duo.
