Installing Office 365 ProPlus on your computer or mobile device
How to install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus on your Windows, Mac, or mobile device through your CSU NetID.

Affiliation: Students, Faculty, Staff
Prerequisites
- You must have an active, primary CSU NetID (secondary NetIDs are not eligible).

Uninstall any existing versions of Microsoft Office on your device before installation.
- You must be enrolled at CSU or actively affiliated with CSU to maintain the subscription.
Installing Office on a Windows or Mac Computer

Uninstall any previous versions of Microsoft Office on your device.

Navigate to the Microsoft Office 365 Login page.

Sign in using your NetID@colostate.edu and your NetID password.

Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Select Office 365 under the My app settings section.

Click Software on the resulting screen.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Installing Office on a Mobile Device

Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Search for Microsoft Office.

Verify the app is published by Microsoft Corporation.

Install the app.

Open the app and sign in using your NetID@colostate.edu and NetID password.
Checking How Many Office Installs You Have Used

Navigate to the Microsoft Office 365 Login page.

Click your user icon in the upper-right corner.

Select View Account.

Click the Manage installs button to view how many desktop installs are currently in use.
Note: This will only show desktop installs. There is no tool to check mobile installs.
Subscription Duration
CSU users may use Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus as long as they are enrolled or actively affiliated with CSU and retain an active NetID. Once your affiliation ends, your access to Office will be deactivated.
